…and i just can’t hide it! (doot doot doot doot-to-do) I’m about to loose control but i think i like it!

so i just found out that i’m going to get a new camera as a late christmas gift from camilo. (yay!) see, i actually have a camera (a 5mp sony dsc-something) it’s a pretty good camera-but lately it’s been taking really crappy pictures. and besides the fact that i haven’t been able to figure out why the images were coming out so bad, i’ve sort of, misplaced it. so the other day at circuit city-where i was on my way to get pricing on my original christmas gift from camilo (a remote car starter) & as i walked by the camera section I decided to check out the digital slr’s. i picked up the new nikon d80 and fell in love with it! it was funny because i had been contemplating going back to my film slr-but the thought of processing & scanning film makes me nauseous. Anyway, to make a long story short (it’s late) there is a chance that we could possibly get the canon rebel xti at a good deal, which from what i’ve read is pretty good and comparable to the nikon (and its slightly smaller so it fits perfectly in my tiny hands!)

so i can’t wait! a lot of things going on-more than i’m used to actually: setting up this blog, getting our financial structure up to date (tax time coming soon-fun), and thinking about what’s to come. i’m really looking forward to 2007…especially a family trip to Colombia we’ve all been talking about!

but for now, i’ll be focusing on how to link a word in my text to a site…after i get some sleep.
