Yikes!

wow, i feel like it’s taken forever for me to write in my new blog! and everyday that has gone by i’ve felt guilty about it. i wanted to track back to last saturday, but i’ve fallen so behind that it’d take me all night to catch up! oh well, i’ll have to live with the absence of posts for the last few days and do my best at keeping up (it’s hard, and i do try!).

…my mom came into town today. it had been a few months since i last saw her. i think it was in early november she came up with my dad. then when the holidays came around, we were supposed to go down to visit-but camilo had a show he had to prepare for. it worked out great, staying in boston alone for the holidays, since it allowed camilo and i to chill and enjoy a stress free time off. it was fun-and i got a lot done. anyway, a few weeks ago i asked my mom if she’d come up for a weekend so that i could take my wisdom teeth out. camilo has a busy schedule on fridays this semester, so i knew it’d be impossible for him to take care of me or even take me to the dentist. in a heartbeat my mom made arrangements to come up for the weekend i scheduled the appointment for (which btw is tomorrow @11). it’s funny because my mom is all about the tropical weather, but she’s gets all excited about how cold it is up here (by excited i don’t mean sh loves it, but she gets all bundled up with about 3-5 layers of clothes…and it’s like this activity where she giggles like a 9 year old-it’s funny to watch her to this).right as soon as she got to my apartment, she started cleaning my fridge and sorting out what she was making for dinner-this is why moms are great-i love my mom (although there are times when she drives me nuts!)

about my wisdom teeth…eek…i took the two on the left side of my mouth out last year, which wasn’t fun. this time, its the other two on my right side’s turn to come out…and i’m not looking forward to it. especially since i decided to do with with local anesthesia again. but what i am looking forward to is taking my prescription for valum (lol) what? at least i’m looking forward to something and i’m not scared out of my wits about tomorrow. the dentists office said that it would help knock off the ‘edge’ from the whole procedure…we’ll see about that! in all honesty, i have no clue what to expect-i just hope that at the end of the whole thing, i’m ok, and i get home ok. hopefully no bruising. just a little discomfort. and definitely no dry socket (that is by far the worst if you get it).

till tomorrow!
