i played ‘catch-up’ all day today (at work especially). yesterday, since i hadn’t been feeling well i ended up staying how to get to rest and just chill. it’s probably what i should have done on monday, but i thought i was super woman, and that i could take the pain…turns out i can’t-bah! i have to say, the black eye has kinda grown on me-it’s funny (& creative) all the theories my friends and family have come up with on how i got it…my favorite so far has been the one where my friend cochina reminded me of this one time when i answered the phone asleep and rushed to the bathroom to talk (we were sharing a hotel room and she was asleep)-i did it all so fast that when i went to sit on the toilet bowl (lid down) my head got all lightheaded, and i semi-fainted, dropped to my knees, then my head followed and bounced off the floor and dropped the phone…it all happened so fast-i thought i had a brief concussion. then i was awake, but with i ended up with this horn-like bump on my forehead-lol. cochina ended up waking up from the thump my head made off the floor. that was a funny night.

anyway, my recent absence from work has caused me to be all backed up on my projects at work (so now everything is a rush) which is ok, since i have been not all there these past few days. but it didn’t help the cause when my computer crashed and i lost all the work i had done all morning (yes, i did save, but the program decided to have an error, and it corrupted the file, blah blah blah) so basically i just stayed till i got as much as i could done so that i can make things easier for me tomorrow. it seemed like i was the last one there, except for the cleaning people…let’s see how tomorrow goes.

and tomorrow my mother & bro-in-law are coming in for the weekend, so that should be fun. it’s a little short visit-but we haven’t seen them in a while so it’ll be nice to have them with us. hope they can hack the cold! (it’s currently 74degrees in miami, fl…as opposed to 25degrees-lol)
