since i rock and roll…

ok well, not necessarily-but it has been a long time since i write in my blog. a lot has gone on since i last wrote… so much to share! i think i can sum it up best with photos -that i haven’t had time to process for web use-but i promise to get them up there this weekend.

i’m writing today for another reason. first, i’d like to thank jeff cutler for his mention of my new blog on his site…i’m a little embarrassed that i haven’t updated the site in a while-but at the same time kinda honored that he did (it’s not everyday that i get mentioned else where-thanks jeff!) This weekend i intend to update this place a bit-i’ve been giving this whole blog thing some thought-and i’ve come to realize that posting everyday-with images-is hard for me to pull off since my free time at home is very limited (i have a long commute to/from work) so, until that situation changes, i have an idea of what i want to do with this space…details to come over the weekend.

second, i have a friend out in california that is in the midst of raising money for the humane society out there. she’s going to be doing a charity walk with a few friends of here’s and they are trying to raise $350 for this walk. i wanted to extend the invitation for others to donate by spreading the word here in this new virtual world of mine-not sure how peeps stop by-but i figure it wouldn’t hurt!

so if anyone is interested in donating, click here it’s a secure and private website (i’m sure every dollar helps). i felt compelled to donate since camilo and i adopted jackson (the cat) from our local humane society. there are just so many animals in there! it’s hard to leave not wanting to help one out and give them a home. so i guess the only way i can realistically help out is to donate money. i think camilo would have a heart attack if i came home with a new pet every week! anyway, i wish team pet me please reaches their goal…all the best!
