back in the game?
Published April 29th, 2007 in friends, lifeof blogging that is.
ok ok, so i just managed to post something that i had started a while back ago when i had promised all these wonderful updates…i hadn’t had the chance to finish it up and post it until now. i’ve talked about blogging to much today that it made me feel horrible for abandoning my own site. i didn’t mean to-really. these last few weeks have been, a little out of the ordinary (to say the least).
really, the most memorable thing that has happend to me since was the trip i took to williamsburg, va to surprise a good and dear friend/sister/cochina for her birthday. it was so much fun, that i’ve almost forgotten what a pain it was to actually get out there (my flight was delayed so had i not taken an earlier flight i would have missed my connection-which later caused my luggage to not arrive till the next day in the afternoon-ok, i said i almost forgot)…
regardless, it had been over a year that i had seen her (too long if you ask me). but since i finally made it out there, it makes it easier to want to go out there again. especially since both her and her husband, chris, were awesome hosts. especially chris, he’s awesome (he’s the only man i know-that’s not cuban-that can make the best cafe con leche in the morning; perfect temperature, perfect sweetness, perfect milk-2-coffee ratio…soooo perfect!) i also got to see ornit, sonya’s mom, brother, and ramona and jake-all who i hadn’t seen in a while-so it was great to see them.

like i mentioned above, this is probably the most memorable thing in the past month. besides that i’ve been sick for the last 3 weeks. i’m better now, but my stomach is still acting a little funny (i know, tmi, sorry). and the other thing worth mentioning is that i’m officially a massachusetts resident! can you believe that? after 2 years, camilo and i finally turned in our florida license and car registration and converted to massholes…i mean-residents! the good thing is that we have plenty of miami driving experience, so we fit right in.
let’s see…what else can i share with the virtual world…oh yeah! camilo is having surgery in less than two weeks. i think i mentioned it in the last post that we were going to consider it. and we have. it seems like a simple procedure, so we’re going to keep our fingers crossed and hopes high that all will go well-as planned. so far it’s scheduled for may 8th. in the mean time, camilo started skateboarding again, which is great-and i’m thinking about joining a beach body boot camp for 8 weeks, taking piano and/or clarinet lessons, and taking a drawing class…we’ll see how that goes.
till later!

YAY! I’m so happy I made the blog. I’m still waiting for the CD with the rest of the pictures. That was easily the best weekend birthday party ever. I’m so glad you came and I miss you. Next time you can bring your Camilio.
Wow! So much is going on! Good luck to Camilo on his Labrum surgery. I know a few people who’ve had that done recently and all went well. My husband had it done a few years ago; and I guess it went well for him too…no problems since with that shoulder. Fingers crossed we won’t have to do the other one!
